Huge fire breaks out at warehouse

More than 60 firefighters have been tackling a major blaze at a storage warehouse in Greater Manchester.

Crews were called out from a number of fire stations to tackle the fire at Britannia Bradshaw on Trafford Park.

The warehouse, on Marshall Stevens Way off Westinghouse Road, was used to store paper and furniture.

The fire, which broke out at about 1130 BST, was so intense that firefighters had to draw water from a nearby canal. There were no reports of injuries.

Part of the building collapsed and the remainder is expected to be demolished.

Firefighters are expected to remain at the site overnight.
