Teenagers killed as car hits tree
Two teenage boys have died after the car they were travelling in crashed into a tree in Greater Manchester.

The car, a blue Ford Ka, crashed on Old Kiln Lane in Heaton, Bolton, on Wednesday afternoon.

A 17-year-old died at the scene and another boy, also 17, died after being taken to the Royal Bolton Hospital suffering from serious injuries.

Old Kiln Lane was closed to traffic while police, ambulance crews and the fire service attended.

Greater Manchester Police are appealing for witnesses to contact them.
