Man charged with stabbing murder

A 23-year-old man has been charged with the murder after a man was killed in Warrington on Sunday.

Christopher Lambert, 20, died from a stab wound at his home on Manchester Road, Fairfield.

Paul Holcroft, from Warrington, is due to appear before magistrates in the town charged with murder.

A woman aged 20 has been released on bail by police investigating the killing. A man and a woman, both 18, have been released without charge.
