Boy, 13, in car sex attack ordeal
A man kept a 13-year-old boy prisoner in his car for almost seven hours in an attempt to sexually assault him.

Police said the boy was dragged into the Volvo in Dalton Road, Blackley, Manchester, on Monday afternoon.

The "screaming" victim was then driven around Manchester and had some of his clothes removed by the man.

A spokesman said the boy managed to escape by unlocking the car's passenger door as it stopped at traffic lights in the Clayton area.

He then ran away from the Ashton New Road and West Street junction and called police from a phone box.

'Extremely traumatised'

When officers attended at about 2145 GMT, the boy was dressed only in his underwear and school shirt.

Det Insp Richard Eales, of Greater Manchester Police, said: "A boy has been left extremely traumatised and distressed by this incident and I would ask anyone who may have seen anything to contact us."

The man is described as white, about 5ft 10in tall, of muscular build, and aged in his 30s.

He had pockmarked skin, black short hair, which was curly on top, and a goatee beard and bushy eyebrows.

The black four-door Volvo is described as high powered and with a black leather interior.
