Man stabbed close to tram station

A 21-year-old man has been stabbed in broad daylight near a tram station in Greater Manchester.
The man was attacked on Moss Lane near the station in Altrincham just before 1600 BST on Friday.
He was taken to Wythenshawe Hospital for treatment but has since been discharged with superficial injuries.
The Metrolink station at Moss Lane was closed while police investigated the incident. Any witnesses are urged to contact police.
