Ferrari-limo 'capable of 170mph'
Stretch Ferrari Limo
The stretch "Ferrari" limousine is 20ft long
A man has spent more than £200,000 for his 170mph Ferrari to be turned into a stretch-limousine.

Dan Cawley, 37, of Cheadle, Greater Manchester, is the owner of the 20ft (6m) adapted Ferrari limousine.

The car, which seats eight people, was cut in half and a 9.5ft (2.9m) section was added in the middle.

Mr Cawley, who rents the car out for £700 an hour, said he gets a stunned reaction from onlookers. "People can't believe that it could be a limousine."

He said: "We wanted to set the record for the world's fastest limousine, and we thought there's no better choice than a Ferrari."

He recently used the car at his sister's wedding.

"We stopped the whole of Wilmslow, and everyone was taking photos of the car and not the bride," he said.

"We have had offers for it over £200,000 but we've declined."

Chris Wright, who modified the car, said he planned to modify a Lamborghini Gallano as his next project.
