Boy arrested over teenager's rape

A teenager has been arrested on suspicion of raping a 13-year-old girl in a park in Greater Manchester.

The girl was attacked after getting off a bus on Lostock Road in Urmston at about 0950 BST on Tuesday 29 May.

Police say she began talking to a man when she got off the bus and walked with him along Canterbury Road, towards Davyhulme Park, where she was raped.

A 17-year-old boy went in to police on Tuesday night and is due to be questioned later.
