Mr Platt was found by police officers on patrol
A third man has been charged in connection with the fatal stabbing of Keith Platt in Greater Manchester.

Bradley Ainsworth from New Bury, Farnworth, has been charged with violent disorder and assault following the death of Keith Platt on 17 March.

Mr Platt was found with stab wounds in Church Road, Farnworth. He died later in hospital.

The 20-year-old, of Masefield Drive, will appear before magistrates in Manchester on Saturday.

Two men have already been charged in connection with Mr Platt's death.

Richard Knott, 19, of Masefield Drive, New Bury, Farnworth, was charged with Mr Platt's murder and Daniel Walmsley, 20, of Buckley Lane, Farnworth, was charged with violent disorder and two counts of assault.

The pair both appeared at Bolton Magistrates' Court on 21 March and were remanded into custody.

Two other men, aged 19 and 21, from Farnworth who were arrested on suspicion of murder on 3 April have been bailed pending further inquiries
