Three held over slashing robbery
Three men from Greater Manchester have been arrested following an attempted robbery in which an 18-year-old man had his fingers slashed on Saturday.

An 18-year-old man from Clifton and two 20-year-old men, one from Walkden and the other from Little Hulton, have all been arrested on suspicion of robbery.

The victim was parking a red Alfa Romeo by the Lucky Chip Shop on Rydal Crescent, Walkden when the gang struck.

Detectives are appealing for witnesses to contact them.

The incident happened at about 2100 GMT.

The victim was taken to Hope Hospital and was later transferred to Wythenshawe Hospital for microsurgery.
