John Speakman suffered multiple stab wounds
A woman has pleaded guilty to charges relating to the murder of a man who was found stabbed to death at his home.

John Speakman, 55, was discovered with multiple stab wounds at his house in Marsh Green, Wigan, Greater Manchester, in June last year.

Sylvia Marsh, 53, of Hunter Road, Marsh Green, pleaded guilty to perverting the course of justice at Liverpool Crown Court on Tuesday.

She was released on bail and is due to return for sentencing on 2 March.

Two men, David Haley, 39, of Marsh Green and Christopher Freeburn, 45, of Thursby House, Saddleback Road, Norley Hall, pleaded guilty to murder earlier this week.

Both were remanded in custody until sentencing on 2 March.
