Two charged over toddler's death
A man and a woman have been charged over the death of a 17-month-old boy in Salford.

Hugo Wang died of head injuries at the Royal Manchester Children's Hospital in Pendlebury on Friday.

Agnes Wong, 27, of Frank Cowin Court, Lower Broughton, Salford, has been charged with murder.

Jian Lin, 38, of Frank Cowin Court, has been charged with allowing the death of a child by an unlawful act. Two other people were released without charge.

The two accused will appear at Salford Magistrates Court on Tuesday.

Those not charged are currently being held by the immigration service.
