Man charged with Zimbabwe murder
A 50-year-old man from Greater Manchester has been charged by police with murdering his wife at their home in Zimbabwe.

Ivy Sutcliffe, originally from Rochdale, was shot in the head in August 2004 at their Harare home.

Michael Bamford, of Church Street, Littleborough, is due before Rochdale magistrates on Thursday charged with her murder.

The couple had lived in Zimbabwe for about four years.
