Police are warning the public not to approach Phillips

Detectives are hunting a sex offender who absconded from a bail hostel in Greater Manchester.
John Phillips, who was out on licence, did not adhere to the terms of his release when he failed to return to the hostel in Bury on Tuesday night.
Police are warning anyone who comes across the 53-year-old not to approach him but to contact them straight away.
Although Phillips usually wears glasses, officers say he left his spectacles at the hostel.
