The organ was housed in a specially-adapted van
An antique showground organ worth £80,000 has been stolen from a house in Greater Manchester.

The unique Marenghi organ, which was made in 1903, was stolen from Pear Tree Farm in Black Moss Road, Dunham Massey, last Friday.

It was inside a specially-adapted maroon Bedford van when it was taken.

Owner Michael Priestner said it is "irreplaceable" and has offered a £1,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of those responsible.

Anyone with any information is asked to call police or Crimestoppers.
