Rapist targets student at party

A 20-year-old student has been raped at a house party in south Manchester.

Police said the woman was attacked in a bedroom of the house in Wilmslow Road, Withington, at the party which was held overnight on Friday.

The victim struggled free and called for help. The offender ran from the house and along Wilmslow Road.

Greater Manchester Police say they want to speak to people who were at the party, or anyone who saw anything suspicious on Wilmslow Road.
