Man wanted after pensioner crash
E-fit of man wanted over crash
It is thought the man was alone at the time of the crash
Police are trying to trace a motorist who left the scene of a crash in which a pensioner was seriously injured.

The woman, who is 78 and from Old Trafford, was knocked over on Upper Chorlton Road in Whalley Range, Manchester, on 31 August.

She was taken to Manchester Royal Infirmary suffering a head injury and is now in a stable condition.

Police have released an e-fit of the man they want to trace, and say he is Asian and in his 30s or 40s.

He is believed to have been alone at the time of the crash.

Detectives say the car he was driving was blue with a sloping bonnet and may have damage to one of its wing mirrors.

Anyone with information should contact police or Crimestoppers.
