Man accused of child sex grooming

A 39-year-old man has been charged with grooming a 14-year-old girl for sex and possessing and distributing indecent images of children.

Kenneth Chapman, of Shaftsbury Road in Swinton, is charged with meeting a child following sexual grooming.

He is also accused of six charges of distributing indecent images of children and 16 charges of possessing indecent images of children.

The grooming charge relates to offences against a girl, 14, from Stoke.

Mr Chapman is due to appear at Salford Magistrate's Court on Thursday.
