Man arrested on murder suspicion
Police officers investigating the disappearance of a 36-year-old man from Wigan have arrested a man on suspicion of murder.

Simon Granville Penk, of Honeysuckle Avenue, in Beech Hill, Wigan, was last seen on the morning of 8 May.

Detectives say Mr Penk was spotted buying food from a local store at around 1100 BST.

A 31-year-old man from the Beech Hill area of the town was arrested on Monday and is being questioned by police.
