Detectives are hunting a teenager who attacked and robbed a 13-year-old disabled boy after befriending him on a bus to school in Manchester.
The attacker followed the boy, who suffers from dyspraxia, down Albert Road in Levenshulme before punching him and demanding money and his phone.
Police said both boys had earlier been talking on the 192 bus from Stockport.
The attacker was of mixed race, aged 14 to 16, about 5ft 8ins tall with scars on one cheek and a flat nose.
Victim upset
He was wearing black tracksuit bottoms, black trainers, possibly Nike, and a hooded navy blue jacket with red stripes under each armpit. He was also wearing a baseball cap under the hood.
Greater Manchester Police said he was chased away by a passer-by who lost sight of him behind the Palace nightclub.
The robbery happened on the morning of 10 May.
Det Insp Vanessa Jardine said: "This was a despicable crime in which the offender befriended a young and vulnerable boy before taking advantage of him and stealing his money and phone.
"The victim has been extremely upset and distressed since the incident happened three weeks ago and it's crucial that this offender is caught."
