Police uncover exotic animal haul
Police and environmental health officers went to a house to seize four dogs and found a garage full of about 100 different animals.

Exotic snakes, lizards, fish, rats, and hamsters were crammed into cages and makeshift containers at the property on The Broadway in Bredbury, Stockport.

When the haul was uncovered a man tried to throw two snakes at police officers.

A 52-year-old man, from Bredbury, has been arrested on suspicion of affray and assault.

Enquiries are continuing and police have informed the RSPCA, which is also investigating.

Two dogs were also taken away from the house.
