A psychiatrist groped and kissed a vulnerable female patient, a disciplinary panel heard on Monday.
Dr Kayode Falodun, 49, who worked at Stepping Hill Hospital, Stockport, Gtr Manchester, denies inappropriate, unprofessional and indecent conduct.
The Fitness To Practice hearing was told Dr Falodun hugged a 20-year-old woman and touched her breasts.
The woman giving evidence by video link said she had thought the doctor was somebody she could talk to and trust.
Jane Sullivan, for the General Medical Council, said the woman, referred to as Miss A, was being treated by Dr Falodun for depression and post-traumatic stress.
'Nice doctor'
She said that on 16 February 2004 he led the woman, dressed in her pyjamas, from her ward to his private office where he kissed her on the lips and touched her breast and back.
Miss A said the doctor sat her on his knee and bounced her up and down.
"He said that if I was fat then he wouldn't be able to do that," said Miss A.
She added: "He made me feel like I could trust somebody and talk to him - I thought he was a really nice doctor."
Miss A said the doctor gave her his mobile phone number and offered to pay for credit on her phone so she could call him.
The hearing continues.
