Lizzie Bardsley appeared on Channel Four's Wife Swap

Reality TV star and mother-of-eight Lizzie Bardsley has been arrested over allegations of child cruelty.

The 32-year-old of Hursted Road, Rochdale, Greater Manchester, appeared on Channel Four's Wife Swap.

Mrs Bardsley was arrested on Thursday after handing herself in to police officers voluntarily.

Greater Manchester Police said: "A 32-year-old woman has been arrested on suspicion of child cruelty and bailed until April 3."
