Police investigating the alleged rape of three young girls in a park have been granted an extra 24 hours to question a 14-year-old boy.
A fourth girl, who is 10, is believed to have been sexually assaulted in the incident at Mandley Park, off Leicester Road, in Salford, on Sunday.
Police said it was believed the girls, two aged eight and one aged seven, had been forced into a secluded area.
The boy, from Salford, was arrested on suspicion of rape on Monday.
The girls had been playing on swings when they were approached by a youth, a Greater Manchester Police spokesman said.
Detectives are appealing for anyone who was in the park between 1700 BST and 1840 BST on Sunday to contact them.
