Two arrests in 'axe' murder probe
Two men have been arrested by police investigating the murder of a man who was attacked with an axe or machete at his home in Greater Manchester.

Martin Rankin was found with serious injuries at his home on Glenvale Close, Radcliffe, Bury, on Christmas Eve.

The 37-year-old was taken to Fairfield Hospital but died of a head injury on New Year's Day.

Two men from Bury, aged 20 and 27, were arrested on suspicion of murder on Tuesday and are being questioned.
