Police have sealed up the crack house

A house named by residents as a centre for dealing crack cocaine and heroin has been closed by police.
Officers from Greater Manchester Police (GMP) served a closure notice on Saturday on the house in Gordon Street, in the Abbey Hey area of Manchester.
Police said a person was asked to leave the house which was sealed and with its electricity, gas and water stopped.
"This closure would not have happened without help from the local community," said Insp Mark Kenny.
He added: "Houses where drugs are used blight an area."
The house will be closed for three months and anyone found entering will be arrested.
The closure is the second one carried out by GMP and Manchester City Council in a month.
A GMP spokeswoman said on 17 November 2005, officers served a closure order on a "crack house" on Bayston Walk in the Gorton area.
Two people were asked to leave the premises and the house was boarded up.
