The funeral of a policeman killed in a minibus crash in Thailand was taking place in Cheshire on Tuesday.
Pc Kevin Brinkman, a 33-year-old officer with Cheshire Police, was part of a British police response team sent to help with the Tsunami relief aid.
The officer, who was helping to identify victims of the Asian Tsunami, died after a road crash during a sightseeing trip on a day-off.
The funeral was at St Mary's Church, Weaverham, near Northwich.
Cheshire's Chief Constable Peter Fahy said Pc Brinkman, who had served with the force for 11 years, was "a fine officer".
He added: "Our thoughts are with his family and friends at this sad time, it is difficult to comprehend what they must be going through."
