Three men arrested over shooting

Three men have been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after a shooting near a pub in Manchester.

Two men were injured near the Bricklayers Arms pub on Moston Lane in Harpurhey in the early hours of Friday.

A 24-year-old man from Strangeways and two men from Middleton, aged 25 and 21, were arrested and released on bail.

The two injured men, who are aged 19 and 21, have been released from hospital. Greater Manchester Police asked witnesses to contact them.
