Police have launched a murder inquiry after a man's body was found outside a house in Manchester.
Officers were called to the house on Merseybank Avenue, Chorlton, on Friday night following reports that a 46-year-old man had been stabbed.
He was taken to Manchester Royal Infirmary where he was pronounced dead.
Detectives said they were keen to speak to anyone who saw any suspicious activity in the Merseybank Estate area about the time of the incident.
They are also asking residents to be on the lookout for suspicious items such as a bladed instrument and clothing which may have been disposed of in their gardens.
