A man has been arrested in connection with the rape of a 19-year-old woman who was attacked after leaving a nightclub last month.
The teenager had left Barbarella's in Leigh, Greater Manchester, in the early hours of Sunday 20 February when she was dragged into an alleyway.
She was hit repeatedly by the attacker and was taken to hospital where she received treatment for a broken jaw.
A 22-year-old from Atherton is being held on suspicion of rape and assault.
