Man stabbed in his head and legs
A 31-year-old man is in hospital after being stabbed several times in the head and legs.

Greater Manchester Police were called to a house on Outwood Road in Heald Green early on Saturday.

Detectives believe two men kicked the front door down, went in and stabbed the man before making their escape either on foot or in a car.

The 31-year-old was taken to Wythenshawe Hospital where he is said to be in a stable condition.

Police are appealing for anyone who saw anything suspicious near the address to contact them.
