Friends and family of a teenage mother, believed to have been killed in front of her one-year-old daughter, gathered at her funeral on Monday.
Lynn Savery, 19, was found dead at her home in the Radcliffe area of Bury, Greater Manchester, on 2 September.
Post-mortem tests revealed evidence of asphyxia. A 25-year-old man, from Bury, has been charged with her murder.
During the service at Radcliffe Parish Church, the eulogy was read by her stepbrother, Sean Constantine.
The 37-year-old read tributes to Ms Savery and the congregation sang the hymns All Things Bright and Beautiful and Jerusalem.
In a statement, her family said: "Lynn's death was a shock to everyone and she will be very sadly missed by all that knew her.
"We have been through the worst few weeks of our lives and now that Lynn has been laid to rest, we ask that we are now given some privacy to grieve our loss and get our lives back to some sort of normality in order to provide stability for Lynn's daughter Mia."
