Two women who tried to photograph a prisoner in the dock with their mobile phones are facing prison sentences.
The women, one aged 17, were spotted using the phones just feet away from the prisoner at Manchester Crown Court.
Anne Marie McGlacken, from Romiley, Stockport and the teenager - who cannot be named - were bailed.
McGlacken was in court as her nephew Douglas McGlacken, 19, was being sentenced for five years for possessing a key-fob gun and ammunition.
'Custodial sentence likely'
Judge Martin Rudland ordered that the women should be arrested and have their phones seized for police examination.
He told them: "You must both understand a custodial sentence is highly likely for what you have done and I give you fair warning now that it is likely to follow."
The judge also ordered that Douglas McGlacken, a member of Manchester's notorious Pitt Bull Crew should serve 180 days unexpired from a previous 54-month sentence imposed in May 2002 for conspiracy to possess guns and supply drugs.
He had been stopped on suspicion of drink-driving when he was discovered with the loaded key-fob gun.
