Motorcyclist killed in road crash
Police have named a motorcyclist who died after he fell from his bike and hit an oncoming car.

Lee Sharratt, 34, of Newall Green, Manchester, died in Wythenshawe Hospital after the crash on Barlow Moor Road, Didsbury.

Police say he fell from his bike on Monday and hit a Peugeot 205 which was leaving the Woodstock pub.

Barlow Moor Road was closed between Burton Road and Palatine Road for four hours while the scene was examined.

The 22-year-old Peugeot driver, from Didsbury, was not injured in the incident.

Witnesses are asked to contact Greater Manchester Police.
