A man and a woman have died in separate road accidents in Greater Manchester.
Angela Townsend, 47, of William Street, Radcliffe, died after the motorbike she was a passenger on collided with a car on the M60 at about 1715 BST on Sunday.
The 34-year-old motorcyclist also suffered serious injuries and is stable in Hope Hospital, Salford.
A 67-year-old man from Blackrod also died when his truck - a recovery vehicle - hit a parked car in Plodder Lane, Bolton, at 1100 BST on Sunday.
Critically ill
Frank Woods, of Manchester Road, was travelling towards Over Hulton when the truck left the carriageway on a right-hand bend near the junction with Beech Avenue, Farnworth, and hit a Vauxhall Nova.
It is believed he may have fallen ill at the wheel. He died later at Royal Bolton Hospital.
Meanwhile, a 41-year-old woman pedestrian is in a critical condition after suffering head and leg injuries when she was in collision with a car in Burnage, Manchester.
It happened shortly after 2250 BST when a Mercedes Vito van driven by a 59-year-old man from Whalley Range was travelling along Kingsway towards the city centre.
Witnesses to any of the crashes are asked to contact police.
