Hit-and-run toddler 'critical'
A two-year-old boy is being treated for serious injuries after he was hit by a car which failed to stop in Manchester.

Police say the toddler was hit by a dark Rover 620i on Lower Moss Lane in Hulme, at about 2230 BST on Friday.

He was taken to Manchester Royal Infirmary but was later transferred to The Royal Manchester Children's Hospital in Pendlebury.

The child is being treated for serious internal injuries and is said to be in a critical condition.

Greater Manchester Police are urging anyone who may have seen the car, registration P379 DTV to get in touch with them.
