Ten people have been arrested in Greater Manchester as part of an ongoing operation to target the supply of class A drugs.
Members of the Tactical Aid Unit joined other officers on a raid of eight addresses in Wigan in the early hours of Tuesday morning.
The search warrants were carried out in Whelley, Hindley, New Springs, Abram and Platt Bridge.
Eight men and two women aged between 26 and 50 were arrested on suspicion of a variety of drugs and firearms offences.
They were due to be questioned later.
A quantity of drugs, a large quantity of cash and a number of weapons were also recovered.
The arrests were part of Operation Saxham which was started in response to the community's concerns about drug dealing in and around Wigan.
Another two men from Hindley have been summoned to appear in court to face charges of possessing cannabis.
