Soap bosses to 'monitor' star
Ryan Thomas
Granada say the star was not at home when police called.

Bosses of TV soap Coronation Street say they are monitoring actor Ryan Thomas after it emerged police were called to his house following complaints about noise.

Officers have been called to his home in Nathan Drive, Salford, three times in the past week following complaints from his neighbours.

A spokeswoman for the Granada TV programme said this was a private matter for the star, who plays Street bad boy Jason Grimshaw.

She said: "We will be monitoring the situation"

The spokeswoman added: "This particular incident, he was not at his house, the party was thrown by his flatmate Jamie Luke, who is in Hollyoaks."

A police spokeswoman said: "Greater Manchester Police can confirm that officers have been called to an address on Nathan Drive in Salford three times in the past week following complaints of noise."

A spokeswoman for Mersey TV, which produces the Channel Four series Hollyoaks, said it was not the company's policy to comment on the personal lives of actors.
