Ex-marine faces further charge

A former US marine who flew to France with a 12-year-old schoolgirl from Wigan has been told he will face a further serious charge.

Toby Studabaker, 31, is currently in Germany awaiting extradition to the UK to face abduction charges.

The two made contact in an internet chatroom and later met at Manchester Airport before flying to France.

The couple then went to Frankfurt in Germany where Mr Studabaker was arrested.

News of a further charge was revealed on Wednesday.

The girl was reunited with her parents on 15 July.
