A 24-year-old man has been arrested after a burglary at the north London home of model Kate Moss.

The break-in at the £7m property in Maida Vale, happened at 0420 BST on Thursday, police said.

It is believed that valuable artwork was stolen from the house where Ms Moss lives with her guitarist partner Jamie Hince.

Police would not confirm reports that the 36-year-old model was in the house at the time of the raid.

A Metropolitan Police spokesman said: "A 24-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of burglary and has been taken to a Camden police station. Inquiries are ongoing."
