Twickenham nursery worker charged with assault

A 21-year-old nursery worker has been charged with assault by police investigating claims of abuse at a nursery in south-west London.

A two-year-old boy was allegedly hit on the head with gloves at the nursery in Twickenham on 18 January.

Wesley Prigmore, from Sutton Lane, Hounslow, west London, was charged with two counts of common assault.

Mr Prigmore will appear at Richmond Magistrates Court on 17 March. He remains on bail.
