Ten bailed after stabbing death in London 'gang fight'

All 10 people arrested after a teenager died following suspected gang fight in east London have been released on bail.

Isschan Nicholls, 18, from Poplar, east London, was stabbed during a brawl involving up to 15 youths in Bow on Wednesday night.

Mr Nicholls died at the Royal London Hospital in the early hours of Friday. He was the first teenager to die violently in the capital this year.

The arrested people were aged between 15 and 42, and included two women.

Mr Nicholls was injured in a fight near Eastside Youth Centre at about 2120 GMT.

A post-mortem examination revealed he died from stab wounds to the abdomen and thigh.

A 17-year-old who also suffered knife wounds has been discharged from hospital.
