Two men in their 20s have been arrested after a 19-year-old man was stabbed to death in north London.

Michael McCarthy, 19, was attacked near his home in Yoakley Road, Stoke Newington, on Thursday.

Police want to trace a silver Fiat Punto, WN06 BVE, seen being driven from the scene after the stabbing.

A post-mortem examination is due to take place on Monday. The dead man's next-of-kin have been informed, police said.
