Boy, 14, charged over stab death

A 14-year-old boy has been charged with the murder of a 20-year-old man in a street attack in north west London.

Anthony Junior Parkes was attacked in Park Parade in Harlesden on 5 November. He was pronounced dead in hospital.

A post-mortem examination gave the cause of death as blood loss following a stab wound to the leg.

The boy, from Harlesden, will appear at Brent Youth Court on Monday. Kemal McLeary, 18, of the Mall, Harrow, has also been accused of the murder.

Mr McLeary, who has been remanded in custody, will appear at the Old Bailey on 23 February.
