Murder victim was shot in chest

Daniel Duke died in hospital on Tuesday

Police have identified a man who was fatally shot in south-east London on Monday as Daniel Duke, aged 22.

They believe the shooting happened in Alberta Street, Kennington, but Mr Duke staggered to nearby Ambergate Street.

He was taken to a local hospital but died there early on Tuesday. A post-mortem examination gave the cause of death as a gunshot wound to the chest.

No-one has been arrested in connection with the murder and detectives are calling for witnesses to contact them.
