Four accused of alleyway murder

Four men have been charged with murder over the death of a man who was attacked in an alleyway in south east London on Halloween.

It is believed Richard Price, 23, was attacked after leaving the Swan & Mitre pub in Bromley High Street.

He had head injuries and died when his life support machine was turned off.

Murat Karabeyez, Michael Liddell, Param-Jit Theara and Jagtar Johal will appear before magistrates in Bromley later.

Mr Price was found by police community support officers on patrol and taken to Princess Royal University Hospital, Farnborough, for treatment.

Murat Karabeyaz, 24, of Burford Road, near Catford, south London; Michael Liddell, 19, of Holyoake Walk, Ealing, west London; Param-Jit Theara, 24, of Ross Way, Greenwich, south London and Jagtar Johal, 36, of Blyth Road, Bromley, were charged on Tuesday with murdering Mr Price.
