Four rescued from high-rise fire

Firefighters rescued four people from a derelict tower block in west London after fire spread through four floors.

The fire brigade was called at 1535 BST after the 10-storey building in Brent caught fire.

Fifteen fire engines and 75 firefighters tackled the flames, which took hold on the second, third, fourth and fifth floors.

The four people, rescued by firefighters wearing breathing apparatus, are not thought to be hurt.
