Teacher admits pupil relationship

A private school teacher faces prison after admitting having an unlawful relationship with a 15-year-old pupil.

Helen Goddard taught music at a prestigious central London school before her arrest last month.

Goddard, of Thornham Street, Greenwich, south-east London, pleaded guilty to six counts of sexual activity with a female child under 16.

The 26-year-old was bailed following the hearing at Southwark Crown Court and will be sentenced on 21 September.

Ms Goddard was ordered to sign the sex offenders register.
