Man murdered in 'drunken brawl'

Police investigating an attack where a man was stabbed to death after a suspected drunken row in south London have arrested a 16-year-old boy.

The victim, 46, suffered multiple stab wounds in the attack at a house in Windmill Road, Croydon.

Police were called to the scene at about 2030 BST on Tuesday. An ambulance took the victim to the Mayday Hospital where he died shortly before midnight.

Police have already arrested two men over the incident.

Those two arrests were made at the the property where the attack happened.

The arrest of the 16-year-old was made on Wednesday afternoon, police said.

The killing is the latest violent incident in the area.

Father-of-two Wesley Blake, 27, was shot dead in a car in nearby St Saviour's Road on 27 May.

A middle-aged man was stabbed in Windmill Road in May, while another man was beaten up with bricks at a house party in Dennett Road in June.
