A 50-year-old man has been arrested and bailed following the murder of a sex offender who was stabbed to death and mutilated in south London.

Andrew Cunningham, 52, was found dead in his caravan at the Windmill Business Centre in Riverside Road in Earlsfield on 10 December.

The cause of death was multiple wounds including mutilation of the groin.

The man, who was held last Thursday, has been bailed to return to a south London police station early September.

Police sources had said Mr Cunningham who worked as a lorry driver, was convicted of a sex attack on a girl under the age of 16 in 2001.
