Teenagers on party murder charge

Three teenagers have been charged with the murder of a man at a party in east London, police have said.

David Cauchi-Lechmere, 20, was found with stab wounds to the chest after a disturbance at Henry Addlington Close in Beckton early on Saturday morning.

Mr Cauchi-Lechmere, from Tower Hamlets, east London, died 13 hours later.

Lewis Wilson, 18, Losimba Yfeko, 18, and a 17-year-old, all from Beckton, will appear at Stratford Magistrates' Court later.

On Monday, two further people, aged 17 and 19, had been arrested on suspicion of murder and remain in custody.

Two other men, aged 19 and 20, also arrested on suspicion of murder have been released on police bail pending further inquiries.
